Royal Palace of Caserta

A grandiose work, for the splendor of the rooms and the beauty of the park, designed by Luigi Vanvitelli in the mid-eighteenth century. The palace has 1200 rooms and 34 staircases, the central avenue of the park is 3 km long and has six large fountains.

Caserta

The center of Caserta is very popular, because it offers several shopping streets, such as Via Mazzini and Corso Trieste, and numerous bars and cafes that liven up the streets of the center until late at night.

San Leucio

Just outside the city, you can visit the monumental complex of San Leucio, a community of weavers founded by King Ferdinand at the end of the eighteenth century. It includes the royal apartments, the Silk Museum and the Belvedere

Caserta Vecchia

The ancient medieval center of Caserta is located at about 400m above sea level. Casertavecchia is a village with characteristic streets, small shops and panoramic points. Of great historical interest are the Cathedral of 1100 and the remains of the castle.
